Holy Moly! I don't post for seven or so months and Blogger goes and changes everything. Geez, the things I had to go through just so I could post again.
So much has happened since my last post. Cuzzy, Odie and myself stayed true to the gym for a long time (Okies 4 months). On February 20th, that was my last time I worked out until recently. I got sick on that night and couldn't go back. I had that nasty flu or whatever it was for a whole freakin' month or more. No meds were making me better; it finally went away with some antibiotics and advair for my breathing. Anyhoo, long story short...I got sick...cuzzy's night life changed and odie's work load got hectic. Trying to get back in the swing of working out again has been tough. With Christy in sports and Cuzzy's schedule and then all the freakin' special days, we've only hit the gym a couple of times. Once the kids get out of school on summer vacation, I'll be able to go to the gym on a more reliable schedule. Now moving on...
We are working on our house. We have recently added a sunroom to our house. We are basically using that room for the kids to hang out in. We moved the video games in there with a tv and dvd player. The room is 12 feet by 18 feet. We carpeted the sunroom, living room, entry way and hallway. We also bought new furniture for the living room and moved the old furniture into the sun room for the kids. On Saturday, we had our neighbor come in and start on our bathroom. We had a shower installed, so now we are having it tiled (shower/bathtub & floors). The whole point of that story was to let you all know I am finally loving my house. I wasn't feeling it before but now its home.
The kids are doing great. Nikki finally lost her first tooth when we went to Disneyland last month. She is growing like a weed and attitude galore. A miniature Christy. **sighs** Christy has been so involved with sports, we don't have time for anything else. She received the coaches award for basketball. She just finished her track season. We don't know for sure if she medaled in the 100 meter. The school was way behind with the time keepers. Although she did medal in the 4x100m relay. Oh yeah and did I tell you, she ran for/with the 8th graders. She is only a 7th grader but quick like the 8th graders. Joseph has been doing a good job on keeping his grades up. He didn't run track this year but the coaches were looking for him. He's going back next year.
Oh yeah, this is my last year being a Girl Scout leader as least for awhile. Christy is so involved in school she doesn't have enough time for Girl Scouts any more. Nikki wants to take dance classes instead of being a Girl Scout. We don't have enough time to do both.
So thats whats been going on. Probably be a year before my next post. LOL
