Stuff
As you can see, I haven't been able to work on a new layout. I've been a bit busy with Girl Scouts.
Cookies are here! So I have been dealing with all that stuff. I had a cookie dad but he recently got a new job so he hasn't been fulfilling his promise. I've been doing all the work.
Then we had Thinking day (a day that all Girl Scouts and Girl Guides think of each other), we do fun things on this day. This year we had a huge party with our service unit and snacked on all types of different foods. That was stressful being that Odie and Karen were both late. Yes, can you believe it! **slaps both** LOL I was stressing big time.
Not only were they late but then one of my girls didn't have a ride so I had to arrange to get her a ride from one of the other moms in the troop. And on top of all this, we didn't have our board done which Odie and Karen were supposed to be there to help with it. By the way, did I mention they were BOTH late!
I think I'm done ranting and raving. Oh yeah, I didn't forget to tell you that Odie and Karen were both late, did I? LMAO!!!

What I've Been Up To
I've been a little busy lately. Believe it or not, I have been in the mood to clean house and wash clothes. The kids have been hating life because Mom has gone on a cleaning rampage. I make them pick up any little piece of lint. They can't bring their toys or books in the livingroom because then it looks dirty (Ok, not dirty but not everything in place). I love organization!
The Flea Market
This past weekend I took the kids to Denio's Flea Market. I haven't been there in years so I thought it would be a good time to give the kids an adventure to talk about.
Christy wanted to buy so many things. She had birthday money and believe me it was all burning a big hole in her pocket. She ended up getting a backpack, a wallet, a pink princess beenie cap, a 36 pack of pencils for $1 and some pens.
Joseph bought some Yugioh cards and a water ball attached to a jelly-like string. Thats all he found that he wanted. While I am talking about Joseph, please click on his name, I've made him a new layout. He is supposed to update more often now. We'll see.
Nikki (Boo) bought a pink cell phone/whistle/bubbles. She also bought a pair of purple "glubs" (gloves).
Girl Scouts
While doing all this, I have still managed to continue with my junior troop meetings. We have been making paper mache' masks for Thinking Day.
Not only do I have a junior troop but I recently signed up to be a co-leader for Nikki's Daisy troop. So I am the leader for my Juniors and co-leader for my Daisy.
I Want A New Layout
As you know, I have just finished a new layout for Joseph. Christy, Rancine & Odie all have new pages so I figure its about time I do one for myself. Now the thing is I have no clue what I want to do. Ughhhhh! I guess I'll have to get back to you on this one.

A Blinkie Button for Joseph
Joseph brought it to my attention that I've made everyone a blinkie except for him. So you know what that meant, yes I had to make him one (while he was watching over my shoulder). Did I mention he is so ding danged picky? OMG I must have had to redo his blinkie a gazillion times -- Okies, I think I'm exagerating at least a couple of times. Anyhoo, here it is.

Blinkies
I think I finally made my own blinkie. Okay, well at least I call it a blinkie. Is it a blinkie or just a thingy? Hmmmm. Anyhoo, here it is.

A Couple Of Birthdays
January 31st has come and gone once again. It just seems like yesterday I was blessed with a baby girl but in all actuality it was 11 years ago. Eleven years folks. How is that possible? They grow up so fast! She is a beautiful young lady (she looks just like her mommy - ME). Happy Birthday Christy!
Today was my Dad's birthday so I called him this morning to wish him a very happy birthday. He is 61 years young. This is how part of our conversation went:
Me: "Happy Birthday Daddy!"
Dad: "Thank you sweetheart."
Me: "How old are you now? 75?"
Dad: "Yeah somewhere around there." (as he laughs to himself)
Anyhoo, he was gonna go out to eat somewhere special that he was excited about. Happy Birthday Daddy! I love you!
Tax Time Again
I was looking forward to tax time this year because we bought a new home. Everyone was telling us how great it was to own your own home because of all the benefits. Hubby and I gathered our W-2s and all our paperwork we needed to take to the tax people. We were expecting to get most of our taxes back (according to friends and family). Well needless to say, I might not be remodeling my bathrooms. I might not be able to organize my closets. We might not be able to take our vacation to California Disney and Disneyland. Does that tell you anything? Taxes suck!
