Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. My holiday was fantastic! Although Christmas wasn't supposed to be held at my house, it was. We had our very first Christmas in my new house.
On Christmas eve, my sister, Mary, her hubby, Rene' and my little neice, Natalie came over. We spent the whole evening together watching movies and sitting by the fire.
Hubby called from work and said he was on his way home so I woke up for Christmas and started the day at about 6:50 am. Once he called, I couldn't get back to sleep. Soon after hubby called, Christy came into my room and asked if she could go in the living room to see what Santa brought her. I said to her, "Daddy will be home soon and you can go in there when he gets home." Yanno how kids are when they want their toys...she walked away grumbling!
I, then called my other sister, Jodi to let her know when hubby was getting home so she could be here to open presents but she was already on her way over. Once Odie got here and hubby walked in shortly after her, we started opening present galore.
I have to tell you...OMG my kids are so spoiled! I thought it was gonna be New Years before they finished unwrapping presents. It was a great Christmas! I just love seeing their faces when they got everything and I do mean everything they wanted.
Oh yeah, I got a new leather jacket, a couple of new outfits, pajamas and slippers, a massager, a huge Hickory Farms basket, a couple of new movies, a bottle of Banana Snapps. I got more but can't remember them all right now.

Toast to Cousins & Fear Factor Partners
I know its been awhile since I've update so here I go again. Sisser is buggin' da chit outta me. Let me just warn ya, I have a gazillion cousins.
Anyhoo, let me let you in on what I've been up to since the last update. My cousin, Kathie and her husband, Porter are going to Germany for about 3 years. Porter recently aquired a job there. So my other cousin, Pamila decided to throw them a going-away party.
On Saturday, December 4th, my family and I drove to Pamila's house for a fun day to spend with family. I was really looking forward to this party because Pam had told me that cousins we haven't seen in quite awhile were going to be there.
When we arrived, my sisser, Jodi (Odie) and her boyfriend, Rudy (Rudester) were already there. Odie was helping out in the kitchen so I went into the livingroom with my hubby and talked to the Rudester. As we're talking, all kinds of folks were coming into the house (People I knew and people I didn't know).
To make a long story short, we ate dinner then my cousin-in-law, Nathan (Nate-Dawg)started making drinks for everyone. He is usually our bartender at every party. Now I don't usually drink at our parties and wasn't going to drink at this party, especially because Nate-Dawg didn't have any Rosemary lime to make me a Kamakaze (My fave) but he offered a screwdriver and I said okies just one.
As I am sippin' on my one drink, I can see Odie across the room in this now very crowded house and she is holding up her drink. Now the drink she held up was blue but the one I saw her with at first was green (I think). I, also thought I saw her with a beer earlier outside. I went about my business catching up with all my cousins that I haven't seen for years.
Again, I glance up and see Odie with a different drink. Sisser's face is now starting to turn pink. She is really looking flush but I thought it was because the house was getting really warm with all those bodies in the house.
I go back into the front room where my cousin, Nita tells me not to go in the garage because they were all drinking out there. Drinking shots, kind of drinking. I told my cousin, Rose, I'm not going anywhere near the garage because Pam will drag me out there. I ended up in the kitchen near the garage because I was telling another cousin, Rhonda that Pam was going to be paying dearly tonight. I told her that Pam wasn't feeling any pain and she would soon be praying to that "big white buda" and lo' and behold, they drug me in the garage.
Dang, who knows - they drug or I mosied right in. LOL Anyways, I ended up in the garage. From there it was all downhill. All my cousins were outside, Butchie, Tomas, Ronnie, Ronnie's friend, George, Pamila, Wilbert, Alton, Nate-Dawg, Odie, Rudester and still I think there were more.
We toasted everything in the freakin' world. We started out toasting to cousins. Then to cousins again. Then to family. At this point, I knew I was drunk. I did manage to go back in the house but Pamila and Odie came to get me.
We toasted some more. Pamila swears she is going to go on Fear Factor and her partner is going to be my other cousin, Tomas (Mas). Now I think Mas could really do it but Pamila is NOT going to be eating anything gross. She can't handle it when she breaks a nail. LOL Anyhoo, we must have toasted to Fear Factor partners at least 20 times.
Keep in mind, I was already drunk as a skunk but continued to toast with my cousins. The final four in the toast were Mas, Pamila, Odie & Me. Mas handed me a double shot glass with banana snapps in it. We toasted to Kathie and Porter. After a few of those, we ran out of banana snapps so they gave me peppermint snapps. Mas kept spilling it on my hand so my hand was really sticky. I had to share that with the Rudester. I told him he could feel how sticky and he just laughed at me.
After that, I ended up with the hose running on my face in the front yard. OMG, I haven't been that sick in years. It had been 17 years since I drank that much to get myself sick. I stayed in bed until afternoon the following day. Every muscle in my stomach, chest and throat were sore. I won't be doing that for another 17 years.
