HOUSE NEWS
We finally got to close escrow on Friday, so now I own my own home. Wooooo Hoooooo!!! Great feeling except NOW all I can think of is all the stuff I want to do to it but don't have the money to do it. Hmmmm, I think hubby is going to be working a whole lot of overtime. I want, I want!
I have already painted the whole livingroom including the ceiling with all those little knobbie things on it. Lawrence painted Joseph's room with the exception of the ceiling and inside of the closet. And we have started to paint the kitchen meaning we did the ceiling. We have been working on the house since about 5:30PM Friday evening and thats all we have gotten done. Oh yeah, I already shampooed Christy & Boo's bedroom carpet.
I, seriously didn't know how much work it is to paint a freakin' room. Why didn't anyone warn me?? HUH?
I am so SORE from all the work. Yanno painting over head and stuff. My shoulders and arms are in pain. My forearms are dead. My hands are cramping constantly. Even my flippin' neck is aching! Thats only my upper body pain. Believe me I have more. See how well I take care of myself. I'm so in shape!
My sisser came over yesterday to see my new house. She bought me a really pretty and big wind chime for a house warming. Thanks sisser and Rudester!

Gone For Awhile
Okies, it looks like we may really be closing escrow tomorrow. At least we are hoping we close escrow tomorrow. I know if we don't do it tomorrow, we will definitely be closing on Monday.
Hubby has already taken the weekend off of work. For him to get time off of work, he has to arrange it a month ahead of time. So I am hoping that the people get outta my house. LOL
Again, don't feel bad if I don't comment on your pages. I will be back soon because I can't stand being without the internet. I know it will probably the first thing I hook up.
Can everyone cross your fingers so that we can close escrow tomorrow? Pleaseeeee? If you can cross your toes too that might help. LOL

Updates
Well I'm not sure how often I will be updating in the next few days. I have a lot of work to get done.
I'm not even sure how long I am going to be offline after our move. We're hoping that we will be right back in the saddle so to speak but who knows.
I know I am all ready going to have a load of things that will need to be tended to. So with all that said, see ya when I see ya's.
Now watch...since I just said all that I'll be online everyday. LOL

The Lake
We finally made it to the lake.
First, I have to tell you my little one was so excited last night that she couldn't sleep. I was laying in bed reading and I could here my two older children starting to snore along with hubby next to me. I thought this is great they all finally went to bed.
The little one suddenly appears in my bedroom at about 11:30 PM, "Mommy, I can't sleep." She does this sometimes when she wants to sleep in my bed. I didn't really want to fuss with her so I told her she could go nigh nigh with me (I know big mistake). She hops in my bed but still can't sleep. She keeps tossing and turning.
About 2 AM, she finally falls asleep. BUT every half hour she wakes up and tosses and turns again. She tossed all night. At about 5 AM, I told her if she didn't stop moving I was gonna make her go into her own bed. She says ok, I'll go now. So off she goes...next thing you hear is her telling my oldest daughter to scoot over. She went right to sleep.
Of course, she went right to sleep because now I only had a little over an hour to sleep. I get up at 6:15 AM and our day starts.
We go and buy donuts and ice and off to cuzzy's house. Then off to the lake.
When we got to the lake, we knew the water was going to be low. OMG! There was only a puddle for us to swim in. Just kiddin'
The water was so low that we actually had to walk about a mile and a half to get to the water (this was downhill). Then to get back up to the picnic tables, we had to walk another mile and a half (this was uphill and a killer). I never walked so much just to get to some water.
All in all, we had a blast! The good thing about this years lake trip, we didn't all burn as badly as we did last year. We used a gallon of sunblock this time, where as last year we only used a half gallon.

Oh and I forgot to tell you all, Boo was so tired from playing all day and not getting enough sleep last night that she fell asleep in the lake against me. She ended up sleeping for about 20 minutes. Then we woke her so we could all go home. I have all the kids right now and she is still awake. She;s excited that Morgan and Keanu are staying over that she is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. So excited that she had to go and find similar jammies like Morgan.

My New Layout
This is my new layout! I hope you all like it. I know I do, at least for now. Please let me know what you all think. Also, I don't mind "constructive criticism." If you have any suggestions, suggest away.
If there is something that you would like to see more of, less of, etc... please feel free to let me know.
Not that I'll do what you want. LOL But it is nice to know what everyone is thinking or feeling about my new layout.
Oh yeah, I know my tag board is kind of screwy. I'm fixing it now.

Stuff
Yayyy the kids are back home. That was a little too much silence.
My littlest one isn't feeling too good. She has a sore throat. I started her on some medicine last night so she will be better by Thursday, when we go to the lake.
Christy has been doing the waitress thing. She found this tray at my mom's house. Now all she wants to do is serve everyone stuff. She loves being the waitress.
Joseph says she is very annoying. LOL Anyhoo, he has been drawing again. His drawings are getting so good.
A New Layout
Okies, I'm looking for a new layout again. I have been looking and haven't found anything yet. I like my layout now with the iframe so I may just do another like it but maybe the image on the left side. I dunno I'll have to mess with it and see if I like it like that.
Question is though...what kind of image(s) should I put on the side? I like froggies. I like butterflies. I love seeing my kids pictures on there but don't have any new ones. Hmmmmm.

My Weekend So Far
As you all know from my last post, the kids are at my Mom's house. They went ova there on Thursday night.
So that night, Lawrence played video games and I played on the puter for awhile. Now remember the kids left after 10 pm. With all that said, I went nigh nigh before hubby about midnight.
Friday morning came and we spent the whole day together. We rarely get time by ourselves. Hubby cooked breakfast for us and then we watched a couple of new movies, Secret Window and Barbershop 2.
I really didn't like Secret Window too much. I'm a big Johnny Depp fan but I didn't like the story.
Barbershop 2 was okay. I liked it a little more than Barbershop. It did have its funny parts.
So much for the movies. With the kids not around, Lawrence and I found ourselves a bit bored (kind of like this post --- boring).
Anyhoo, I wanted to go to the library. Our air conditioner quit working one day on the van, I thought this would be a perfect time for Lawrence to look up some stuff on the van. Like how much stuff he needed to recharge his air, so we could be cool again in his car. Well we didn't find a book for our year, make and model in the library, so that was a waste of time.
I went and found a couple of books to read. I love to read Mysteries. I, especially love murder mysteries. I love to read Patricia Cornwell books but the library didn't have any that I haven't already read.
So I was just wandering around the library and stumbled across some of John Grisham's books. My sister, Jodi, has read his books and told me they were good. I picked one up called "The Street Lawyer" just to see if I would be interested. I started reading it late last night and I'm liking his style.
After going to the library, we came home. Lawrence was looking in the cabinets to see what we could snack on and I came up with a great idea. I told him to call into work for a personal day, so we could go do something.
Lawrence and I went to play bingo. We wanted to try our luck. Well that was a waste, we didn't win. Ughhhhh! I really didn't want to spend any money either because we will be closing soon on our house. Oh well, I thought we were gonna win. Don't tell my mom that we went to bingo because she'll kill me. LOL
We did a little shopping today. Just looking around and spending more time together. Now hubby has gone to work and here I am. Bored again! No kids, no hubby!!!
Maybe I should call my cuzzy...LMAO!

My Kids
My mom called earlier this evening to let me know she was going to bingo with Odie. She said she was gonna come by after bingo to pick up her gate thingy.
So I get a call about 10 pm, it's Odie saying they are on their way. Odie comes to the door where I am waiting and comes in. She says she is going to stay the night with mom and wanted to know if the kids wanted to go with her.
The kids jumped at the chance to spend the night with their Auntie Jodi even if its at Grammy's house. Normally, they don't want to spend the night at Grammy's house because they say its boring there.
Anyhoo, all the kids packed up some things, gave me kisses and into Odie's car they went. Now, I'm anxiously waiting for the phone call telling me they are at mom's house.
First, they have to drive all the way to Odie's house to pick up some stuff, which is about maybe 20 minutes away. Then they are gonna drive to Mom's house, which is another 20 minutes.
Some of you are probably thinking to yourselves, what is she getting at? Well this is the first time Odie has had all my kids in the car at once since she started driving. Yes, I am a little nervous. Okies, I lied I'm a lot nervous. She is a good safe driver and I trust her but I'm a Mom. I can't help but worry.
So as Odie was driving away, I tell her, "Odie, be careful with my babies in your car! Call me as soon as you get to mom's"

Happy 4th of July
I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Eat lots of yummy stuff. Do lots of fireworks. Play lots of games. Hug lots of family. Give thanks to the men and women who fight to give us freedom. And Eat lots of food (LOL-I know I said that already).
On another note, yesterday I packed 7 boxes! Can you believe it? I can't! Wooo Hoooo! (Doing the packing the boxes dance) Uh huh, uh huh!

Ughhhhh!
Okies, I am really feeling overwhelmed because I have so much stuff happening. I feel like I'm not getting anything done.
Maybe I am not feeling the full effect of the pressure so I'm not accomplishing anything. I know that sounds weird but thats how I work.
I'll stop whining now. I'm just tired because I took the kids to the gym to go swimming. I know I know! Here I am talking about not getting anything done but I have time to go swimming.
Like I said, its because I'm not feeling the total thing of the pressure. C'mon pressure! Bring it on!
