My sister bugged the heck outta me to make her a website even though she knew I was supposed to be packing. LOL Anyhoo, I took time away from packing and made her one. Please visit her and say hello at Sille's Place.
With just about my whole family having a blog, my sister's significant other decided to join in on the whole blogging thing. Please visit the Rudester and say hey at Brain Nuggetz.

.:4:34 PM:. Stuff
Guess what? Yup, yanno it! I finally got two big boxes packed up yesterday. I am going to try and get another two packed again today.
I've also been working on a new webpage for my sister. Its almost done but I want her to take a look at it and see if its what she wanted. After her approval, I'll make it public.
It's getting close to us closing on our escrow. On Wednesday, we are going to turn in our 30 notice. Boy is that a great feeling. I will be so happy when I don't have to rent anymore.
The first thing I am going to do when I buy my own home is buy us a cat. We are thinking about getting a dog as well but we will get the cat first.
I want an older cat. The kids want a kitten. I'm really not feeling that because yanno how kittens want to scratch your furniture. Hubby will for sure get rid of the kitty if it does that on our new leather couches.
As far as the dog goes, I'm not sure what kind to get. Our family is a big supporter of Black Labs. I wanted a little dog though, maybe a Norweign Terrier. Boo wants a Cocker Spaniel. She loves their big ears and their sad eyes. Joseph wants anything that is big. Christy hasn't said much about getting a dog and thats because she is a BIG cat person.
What kind of pets do you have?

.:3:07 PM:. Nothings Done
Okies, yanno how I said yesterday that I needed to get all this stuff done. Well I didn't do any of it except play in the spa with the kids.
I have started cleaning off my desk today and its about half way done. Hopefully I will get at least my desk cleaned and packed up. I really need to get on the ball because I know July 23rd will be here quick.
With all that said, I'm gonna finish my desk now.

.:10:22 AM:. A Ton Of Things I Need To Do
First, I am going to attempt to clean off my desk completely today. I am gonna go through all the papers that are just piled as high as the ceiling and throw half of it away. Once, I get my desk cleaned off and put all my books back on the shelves like they are supposed to be, I am gonna pack up my desk with the exception of my puter.
Second, my sisser wants a web page so I think I might work on a website if I can ever get her on the phone to see what she wants on it. I tried calling her this morning but no answer.
Third, I have been wanting to shampoo my carpets. This house that we are living in has very light-colored carpets. We all take off our shoes at the door but still the carpets tend to get spotty especially in the living room. I know most of it is because the kids carry around their drinks when they aren't supposed to or Boo will take her poptarts in the living room and crumbs get everywhere.
Fourth, I have our home inspection papers that I need to go over along with our pest one report from the realtor. Then after going over them all, we need to sign all the paperwork and send them off Monday morning. I have been putting this one off because I am waiting on one more paper from the realtor that needs to be sent in with all the other stuff.
Fifth, after all of this, I think I will then take a soak in the Jacuzzi. I believe if I can accomplish all of that, I deserve a nice soak.

.:8:32 PM:. Another Website
I made another website today but this time for my son, Joseph. You can visit him at KHzone. He is big into Kingdom hearts so I made a huge image for his page.
The image came out really nice. Well at least I think so. LOL He really liked it and thats all that really matters.
He was feeling a little left out because he had asked me years ago when I first started making web pages to make him one. And when I made one for his sister, Christy first, feelings got hurt. I felt I owed it to him to make an outstanding image that he liked.
Please visit his site and welcome him to the blogging world.
.:12:23 AM:. A New Blogger
All day today, I worked on a website for my daughter. Changing things over and over until she was happy with it.
It finally looks the way she wants it and is very excited. As a matter of fact, she is sitting next to me right now doing the wave. LOL
Please visit her at That's So Christy and give her a warm welcome please.

.:11:01 PM:. Exhausted
I don't know why I am feeling so exhausted. I really didn't do a whole lot today.
I managed to pack one box. Can you believe it? The box isn't even all the way full but at least I tried to start. It's that whole thing of knowing I don't have a close deadline right now. This is why I can't seem to get things packed up.
Basically all I did today was clean my kitchen really good. Watched some television. Then I washed a few loads of clothes for my mom. Oh and I had to go to this CPR class for Girl Scouts. I did that from 6 - 9:30 pm. I have to go back again tomorrow to finish up the class.
I guess I should hit the sack so I can get a good nights rest.
Oh one more thing, my little cuzzy just joined the bloggin' world. Can you please visit her at Morgie's World and give her a warm welcome. Thankies!

.:9:51 PM:. Happy Father's Day
I know Father's day isn't until tomorrow but I don't know when I will get online tomorrow. I want to wish all the Dad's out there a Happy Father's Day!
I, especially want to wish my hubby a Happy Father's Day. He is a great dad! He is very supportive of our children. He encourages them to do their best at anything they do. He stands behind them in anything they want to try.
When he is tired after working a full day at work, he takes time to play basketball with the kids. Or he will watch cartoons with our youngest just because she doesn't want him to sleep. He will play video games all day with my son when he knows he should be sleeping. Sometimes, I tell the kids no we can't do that today because your dad has to sleep and then go back to work ... and he is in the background saying ok lets go do it.
Thank you Mister for being such a great dad and husband! I love you! Happy Father's Day!

.:8:33 PM:. OUCH!!
I don't know what happened but my right ankle is killing me. It's not like my ankle it's more like the front part of my ankle. It's where my foot and leg meet, right in the front below my shin.
I don't remember twisting it or anything like that. Yesterday, we all went swimming at our gym.
Off the subject: The big kids and hubby swam on the deep end and Boo & I stayed in the shallow end. She doesn't know how to swim but she is getting there. She can swim a short distance under water using her arms and kicking her feet but she doesn't understand the concept of keeping her head above water and doing the same thing. I tell her to keep her legs straight and kick hard and she keeps her legs straight and kicks but her body is straight up and down instead of kind of laying flat. We are still working on that part.
Anyhoo, we only swam for about an hour. Once we left the gym that is when I noticed my ankle hurting. After going to sleep and waking up this morning, I could barely walk on it. The weird thing is it doesn't hurt if I walk on my tippy toes but once I bring my toes up towards my shin that's when it kills me.
I have no clue what I have done to myself. If anyone knows, can you please tell me?!? LMAO

.:3:24 PM:. Procrastinate
Procrastinate - to defer action; delay; to put off till another day or time; to put off until tomorrow
When you look up procrastinate in the dictionary, there is a picture of me with a cheesy grin on my face.
I can't help it. Even though I know stuff needs to be done, I can't help but wait until the very and I do mean very last minute. It seems I do so much better when I know I have a deadline that is approaching quickly.
This deadline can't be a week, it has to be like the next day or the next few hours. When I was in college, I would wait until the night before a big paper was due to write it. I would be up until all hours of the morning finishing up. I don't know what it is but I work better under pressure.
As you see right now, I should be packing at least two boxes a day (according to my cuzzy) but here I sit on my puter writing this. I've been sitting here today wondering what kind of layout I wanna do next for my site. LOL I know, I know, I should be packing.
I'll do it tomorrow! Or not!

.:6:28 PM:. Overwhelmed
Yanno when you know you are going to move but the day isn't quite here yet, when do you actually start packing your stuff?
I know I am gonna have to start packing soon but then I start thinking about packing stuff I need and having to unpack it. This makes me want to hold off. I know I shouldn't hold off too long because then at the last minute I'll have stuff to move and won't have it in boxes.
My brother-in-law is gonna help us move with a bunch of his home dogs errr I mean boys. My bro-in-law can literally pick everything up his self. That is one man that can lift stuff - heavy stuff!
Anyhoo, they are gonna all help and I don't want them having to worry about the little thing that will only slow them down.
So I ask this question again --> When do you think I should actually start packing?

.:5:43 PM:. House Update
Things are looking good as far as us closing escrow on time, which will be July 23rd. Cuzzy will be in the hospital because her surgery is on July 20th.
Anyhoo, it looks like everything is a go. We have our lender, realtor and sellers all where they are supposed to be.
The home inspector will be inspecting the house next Wednesday, June 23rd. And the appraiser will be going in the first week of July after the 4th. Once all that is done, I'm sure time is gonna fly by.
I am still in a bit of a panic wondering if I chose the right house. There are things that I really like about it and then there are things I don't like. Unfortunately, the things that I don't like are really bugging the chit outta me.
Hubby keeps telling me it will be okay because we can do some remodeling. BUT do you know how much remodeling cost?
I wish we could hurry and move in because I have way too much time to think about it all. Some days I am ready to back out of the whole deal and then others I am okay. I think if I was moved in already and started making it my home I would feel much better.
Thats all folks! I'll keep ya posted.

.:10:40 AM:. Mmmmm Fruit!
Yanno I am sitting here thinking of what I can snack on. I don't feel like having chips or candy and I'm not even thinking about ice cream. I have some fruit in the fridge but what kind do I want.
We have apples, oranges, nectarines, apricots and watermelon. Although all sound pretty yummy, I don't have any cherries, strawberries or blackberries. Geez! I could really go for some dark, dark blackberries.
Blackberries are my all time favorite fruit. I know they are very expensive at times but I still love them. Thats the one thing I don't mind spending a little money on. Look how yummy they look.
What is your favorite fruit?

.:9:16 AM:. Proud Mom
The summer is finally here! Kids are outta school.
My son, Joseph, did well in 7th grade. He is officially an 8th grader now. The second to the last day of school, he was showing a friend of his some drawings that he did. Joseph is really getting good at drawing anime characters.
Well his 7th period teacher saw them and pulled Joseph aside. He asked Joseph if he was interested in being on the school newspaper staff for next year. Now Joseph really doesn't get into all the school stuff I would like him to but he told the teacher yes.
Yes! Can you believe that? I have been wanting Joseph to do something to get more involved with his classes and now I know he will enjoy this.
You are probably wondering why I am so excited. Well let me explain. The teacher liked Joseph's drawings so much that he asked Joseph to do comic strips for the school paper. This is a big deal for where we are.
My daughter, Christy, did great in school also. She is now officially a 5th grader.
On the last day of school, she received a couple awards from her teacher, Mrs. Swan. She received one award for getting 100 percent on every spelling test for the whole year. And then won a second award for having the best book reports during the school year. She received A++'s on her reports. :)
She has also been asked to play the violin again next year. She can play by ear. She doesn't always have to have the music in front of her. She wants us to buy her a piano and guitar next. The great thing is hubby and I are considering it.
Okies thats it for right now. I just wanted to share why I am so proud of my kiddies.

.:10:18 PM:. Cried Like A Baby
Today I watched parts of the Reagan Funeral. I would flip back and forth, listening to certain stories from other important people. Then it came to the last stretch and I felt the need to watch the rest without channel surfing.
I have to say I cried like a baby when Mrs. Reagan was handed the folded flag and then went up to the coffin to say her final farewell. I really do admire Mrs. Reagan. She was so strong this whole week but at the last you could see she wasn't ready to let him go. I believe the world wept with her at the last moment before her children joined her.
My blessing to Mrs. Reagan. May she find the strength to stay strong.
Yanno I don't really know much about politics. If they don't affect me, then I really don't know anything at all.
What I do know is when I turned 18 years old, Ronald Reagan was our President. I was so excited to be able to register to vote but I didn't know if I was a Democrat or a Republican.
I remember seeing President Reagan on television one day. I can't even tell you what he was talking about but I do remember thinking to myself he is a great American! He was all about America as was I -- therefore, when I registered I declared myself a Republican. I am happy to say I am still a Republican to this day. Thank you President Reagan!

.:9:39 PM:. Swimming
I forgot to tell you all I went swimming today with the family. OMG, I am so tired and Boo actually sat on the couch when we got home and knocked right out. Seriously, it took her all of a minute if that to go ni ni.
My other two kiddies are eating my house and home. LOL They swam so much they are starvin'. Looking for anything and everything to eat. I'm afraid to stick my arm in front of them because they might take a bite.
Okies, I'm soooo exhausted that I am going ni ni early tonight. Yayyyy, I don't have to get up early cause today was the last day of school for my kiddies.
.:9:31 PM:. They Come In Threes
Well yanno most say bad things come in threes!
We have recently lost a great President, Ronald Reagan, and now today I just heard we lost a great Musician, Ray Charles.
This only makes me think who will be next. I know thats sad but I can't help it.

.:9:47 PM:. Hot Flashes
OMG! I hate these hot flashes. It's bad enough its been really warm here in Sacramento but to add these hot flashes ... is just plain mean!
I can just sit and watch television and all of a sudden I get this warm feeling. Folks its not one of those nice warm feelings. Its the kind of warm feeling that I start sweating profusely. Like right now, I have sweat just dripping off my forehead. Its so irritating!!!
I wish I could just sit in the freezer. Oh and to top it all off, its that time of the month for me. Ughhhh!!!
Okay, Okay! I know too much information for ya's

.:4:41 PM:. Uggghhhhh!!!
As if I haven't said this already, I hate the stuff associated with buying a house.
Why is it when you put a house up for sale for lets say $275,000, one can't buy it for that amount. You have to do all these bid things. So basically it ends up to be a bidding war if the house is really nice or cheap. The funny thing is the house starts off cheap or at its highest appraisal price but because they get offers they keep trying to go higher ... it gets outrageous!
Some people are just plain greedy ... they know their house is only worth $260,000 but they will try to sell it at $275,000 knowing damn well its not worth that because they didn't put in any upgrades.
The sellers hike up the prices but the lenders will only loan you the amount of money that the house actually appraises for ... Therefore, if you don't have lots of money to put down then you are just SOL!
