Da House

This is a pic of the house we are trying to buy. I have buyers remorse already. I am not sure this is the house I want now. Is that normal? I'm starting to question if its too small, did I make a mistake saying I want this house, is it the house for us...yanno questions like that!

Please let me know if this is normal because I am so ready to say nevermind...I changed my mind...I still want to look for a different one. Ughhhh!

Also see that tree in the front that looks like it blocks the whole view of the house. Maybe I don't want a house with a tree right there. Seeeee what I mean?!?

Girl Scouts

Last night was our last meeting. We decided after having low attendance that we would close down the troop for the summer. We will meet again in late August.

I have to admit that I am looking forward to the time being away from Girl Scouts. Its been a little hard to put my all into the meetings because only a few of the girls were showing up. Plus with me and hubby trying to buy a house, I need the extra time.

The meeting went well especially because I didn't give thought to what we were gonna do for our last meeting until maybe an hour before the meeting. So it went really well. I decided to just play games and give some prizes.

I went to the Dollar Store and bought 10 prizes. Things I thought the girls wouldn't mind getting. The hard part though...I didn't have any games and because I waited so long I had to come up with last minute games.

I, literally went into WalMart at about 5:25 pm walked to the game section. There wasn't anything that grabbed my attention. I was looking for a bingo game but, of course, no such luck. So I just started walking around the store quickly because I was also supposed to pick up one of my Girl Scouts, Pauline @ 5:30 pm. I don't know what made me think of getting cotton balls, a big bowl and a big cooking spoon. I, also picked up some dice.

After finally picking up Pauline, I get to our meeting place. I am literally running in and out of the building bringing stuff in the room because parents were already waiting to get in and drop their girls off.

Cuzzy was running late so we started with the promise and law. I had all the girls sit down and just started talking to them. They were asking what kind of craft were we gonna do today. They seemed to be excited. I told them I didn't really have anything planned. Just maybe some games, some talking, stuff like that...they all looked at each other. I could hear some saying, "But I like when we work on projects."

I asked the girls what kind of games would they like to play. They started naming quite a few but none were games that there could only be one winner. So this just popped into my head...

I decided we were gonna make our own bingo cards and play bingo. I had each girl get a sheet of paper and draw lines so they would have 5 squares across and 5 squares down giving them a total of 25 boxes. Then I had them make their own free space. This is when cuzzy came in...I put her to work right away writing. I had the girls give me 3 names of colors, birds, shapes, singers, etc. Cuzzy wrote down everything the girls listed and the girls filled in their cards with each thing we wrote down. After having the cards filled, cuzzy cut all her words and folded them and tossing them into a that big bowl. We played bingo! Cuzzy was the bingo caller. We played several different bingo games.

The next game we played was with the big bag of cotton balls. I had the girls get in a giant circle. We played hot potato with a bag of cotton balls. It was funny the way the girls were trying so hard to get rid of the bag.

Our final game was one with cotton balls, a large bowl, a giant cooking spoon and a blind-fold. We played this game at my bridal shower. You blind-fold the person, put the cotton balls on the floor or table, put the bowl in front of the person blind-folded and put the spoon in her hand. She gets 5 seconds to spoon the cotton balls into the bowl. This is really a fun game because honestly you can't feel if you have cotton balls on the spoon because they are so light.

Anyone that didn't win a prize, we put there name into the bowl and picked until they all received a prize. We all had snacks, which was "Fruit by the Roll & Sour drinks."

We ended our meeting with our normal friendship circle and I sent the girls off with a giant blow pop.

I ended my night at dinner with cuzzy and my daughter, Christy.

I Been Busy!!!

Okies buying a house is hard work. I don't have time to do anything. Seriously folks, I can't even sleep because of it all.

I go to sleep but yanno how you sleep but you really aren't asleep? Well thats what I've been doing lately.

Last night I was doing the sleeping but not sleeping thing. I was thinking of all the things I am gonna do to my house when we close escrow. And then I must have really fallen asleep because then I started dreaming weird chit. I had the weirdest dream that someone was telling me I was fat. BUT in my dream, I wasn't fat. I started arguing with the person...then all of a sudden I was thinking about my house stuff again. So I must have come back out of that deep sleep.

Weird stuff huh?

House Hunting

OMG! Talking about being stressed out. I didn't know this was gonna stress me like this.

We looked at 4 out of the 5 houses we were supposed to look at.

The first one (This one we wanted because of the location; it was near both kids schools)was in desperate need of some serious tender loving care. Something that we could have done but the more we looked the more costly it was getting. So we passed on that one.

The second one (This one is also close to both kids schools) was really adorable. You could tell the owners really have taken pride in owning this house. She really had her place set up very cute. This house only has 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms but we can work with that. The front and back yards were both landscaped. Very nice set up! We may put in a bid on this one.

The third one (This one both kids would have to go to different schools)was cute on the outside but when you got inside. I don't know what they were trying to say with the particle paint jobs. No trimming anywhere. Back yard wasn't kept up at all. We couldn't even look at the Master Bedroom because the owner was in there sleeping. Yes folks you read me right, the owner was sleeping and allowed us to come into his house. Thats just plain spooky. And then to top it off, there was NO central air conditioning. So you know what that means. Thank you but I'll pass!

The fourth one (Again, both kids would have to change schools) was much bigger than any others that we looked at. All the others ranged in 1300 sq. ft. to 1500 sq. ft. but this one was 1900 sq. ft. That was a big plus because I have a big family. The house needs some work. Nothing real bad but it does need work. We liked this one because not only was it bigger but it has a big pool in the back yard. We are putting a bid in for this one tomorrow morning. I hope we get it even though it needs work. I think we can make it into a beautiful home!

I'll keep you posted how the house hunting comes along. New postings come out on Friday.

**shaking head** I fixed it!!!

.:8:49 PM:.
Yayyyyy!!!!

Finally today I received some great news. We have been pre-approved for a loan to buy a house. As soon as I got the news, I called my husband first then my realtor. She immediately started looking for houses for us.

I let her know the addresses of some of the houses we were already looking at and she has already managed to get appointments for us to look at some places tomorrow. She is really moving on this and I am so ready.

You guys I can't stand it. I have a gazillion things running through my head. Upgrades I already wanna do to the new place. I can finally have my very own flower bed. And one of the best things, I can have as many animals as I want now. No one can tell me that I can't have a cat or a dog. Yayyyyy!!!

Can you read my blog now?

Probably not! Dang Blogger, what are they doing now? I wish I knew how to do the Movable Type stuff. Maybe I should try again after all this time.

I haven't really tried because when I do the kids start asking for stuff. I get so side-tracked that I give up. I dunno maybe later. LOL

New Blogger

Do you like the new set up for Blogger? I think I do, I'll let you know more later. It's different!

Okies, I just posted the paragraph above and blogger didn't show that it posted. Maybe I don't like the new layout for blogger. Let me try this again.

New Layout AGAIN!!!

Okies, I have another layout. Very similar to my past layouts even with same pics of the kids. I redid my image by rearranging the kids and stuff. I don't have any new pictures of the kids and I didn't want to put too much work into this. I just wanted to get a new layout up.

I like it better than the rock one. *sighs*

Also, I have my tag board back on my front page. Yayyyy!!!
