A Sad Day
Well folks, we finally did it. We closed down my backgammon ladder.
Cuzzy and I haven't been on there much so I don't know why I feel so sad about it. I guess its the whole...we started that ladder all by ourselves. We didn't have a whole lot of friends when we started it. It was like taking something and making it from scratch. When we started this ladder, I knew how to run a tourney but that was it. I didn't know anything about how to run a ladder to be its Head Admin. And cuzzy knew even less than I did. She was great with webpages so we made a great twosome.
We had folks that thought we would fail. We showed them! We had our ladder for almost two years. And it was a great success.
It has been getting harder to get online to play in tourneys lately. I know its just gonna get worse too because summer is coming and the kids are gonna wanna be in the pool. So that means even more time away from the ladder.
I think we closed the ladder at a good time tho. We left on our terms and with the respect of our members and staff. I have to say I sure am gonna miss BratGammon. That was my baby!!

Hmmmm, Not sure I like my layout yet!
You ever work on something for so long that when you finally put it up or use it, you are tired of it? Well that is what is happening with my layout.
First off, I feel like my new layout is harder to navigate than my last layout. I'm not sure I am liking that. I like things that are very simple to find.
I added image buttons which I didn't have on my last one. I made a little pixel home, pencil, envelope and bee. I made the pencil so peeps could tag me. Well, I have now gone and looked at other sites and the little pencils are for guestbooks. Hmmmm, wondering if I should change that.
Another thing that is bugging me -- I'm thinking the Rock is too big. The image I mean...like I have too much image and not enough stuff/writings. Again hmmmm, wondering if I should change that too.
Maybe I just need to change my iframe to contain links to my site. Do you think that would make me feel better? Who knows!?! I guess I will have to just wait and see if it grows on me. If it doesn't grow on me, you'll all know because I'll have another up soon. **sighs**

How Do You Like It?
As promised, here is my new layout. Please give me feedback of what you think.
I know there are still things I need to fix and things I still want to add. If you see something you don't like please let me know. Not that I will change it but you never know. Also if you see something I don't have and you think I should, let me know that too please.

I have been working on my new layout. Of course, its still green! I love green and I love frogs. I'm hoping I have it up sometime this weekend. Hopefully!

Today is my cuzzies birthday. She is 43 years young. hehehe Ya notice how I said young? Well dats because I'm not far behind her...LOL

Ughhhh!!!
I have to go to the dentist today. I made an appointment for myself and my daughter, Christy.
Christy is excited about going to the dentist. I have no idea why she would be all 'cited for the dentist but oh well. Me, on the other hand am not looking forward to this at all.
We have to go to a dentist office where we seem to wait forever just to get our teeth cleaned. They are slower than a seven year itch.
I know some of you are wondering, "Why would you go there if you don't like it?" Well because hubby just started this job after retiring military, we have to go with this one for a whole year before we can go to a "real" dentist office. So in other words, we are stuck right now!!!

One Of Those Days
Have you ever had one of those days where you just woke up and you have so much to do that you don't know where to start??? I'm having one of those days.
When I have those type of days, I don't get anything done for a good few hours. I sit around first thinking OMG where do I start. Then it finally settles in and I realize ... chit, I only have this many hours to get all this done. I'm almost at that point.
So I better go start that long list of stuff.

New Layout
I'm getting really bored with my current layout. I want a new one.
All my past pages have had my children on them with the exception of when I didn't know how to do anything on the web pages, so now I am wondering if I should stick with more pics of the kids or should I try one completely different.
Please let me know what you think I should do. Not that I am gonna do what you say but I would like to get some feedback. Mind you, I am speaking to the two people that visit. LOL

Boy Oh Boy!
Geezzz, I had a rough night last night sleeping. Yanno how sometimes you fall asleep but you aren't really sleeping? I kept doing that all night. And then when I did finally fall asleep, I would wake up again and it would be exactly an hour later. I woke up at 12:49 am, 1:49 am, 2:49 am, etc... all the way up until 6:44 am.
I don't know why I have some nights that its hard for me to sleep. Do you think its because I'm getting older? Hey, no old jokes either. But do you?
Now today, I have a Girl Scout leader's meeting and I am tired as heck. I should try and take a small nap but what if I don't wake up? I can't miss tonights meeting because I have a lot of paper work to turn in. Okies, you talked me into it...I'm gonna go take about an hours nap...yeah that's it! A small 'snap!

I have added a new page under my "Me" button. Please check out "my drawings" I have been working on lately.
My son is really into trying to learn how to draw anime characters. I do a little drawing here and there so he asked me if I would try and draw with him. I gave it a try and he was impressed. BUT that doesn't mean a thing. LOL Tell me what you think of the drawings.

We aren't allowed to have any animals where we live right now. Yes folks, we are renting and its a bummer.
Cats are my favorite type of pets. And pictured here is the culprit that keeps leaving paw prints on the hood of my truck. I've found him on the hood of my truck before and you would think he would run after me yelling but he just rolls over on his back and gives those cute little purrs. Yes, I just pet him after that because he is so lovable.
So now you can imagine how I discipline my children.

Bad Migraines
