Busy, Busy, Busy...
I've been busy doing the mom and wife stuff lately. The kids have lots going on right now. With Christy, I have been trying to get all her pre-sales cookie orders delivered. With Joseph, he is having a fund raiser for his school and guess what he is selling? Cookie dough! OMG as if I haven't seen enough cookies lately. And with Boo, well yanno she is my little monster. She is demanding all by her little self in anything she does.
On top of all that I still have Girl Scout meetings, booth sales for the Girl Scout cookies & dinner with cuzzy to discuss Girl Scout stuff. Okies, the dinner part isn't so bad. I do have to eat yanno. LOL
I went to bingo today so I could deliver more cookies. I did get quite a bit delivered this time BUT I stayed to play bingo. I shouldn't have done that because once again I didn't win a freakin' thing!!!
Oh yeah, another thing that has been keeping me busy... I am ranked #1 on my ladder. When one is ranked #1, one has to play a minimum of 5 individual games in the main room. This does not count tourneys. So needless to say, I have been playing on my ladder at night so I haven't had time to update my page lately.
Okies, I gotta go again. I have to do a tourney tonight. Take care everyone. Leave me a message. :)

Girl Scout Cookies!
Yanno Girl Scout cookies are really good. I love the Samoa ones best BUT I have recently discovered Thin Mints once again. I have always loved those!
Try this though... First, go buy you a couple of boxes..dang buy a dozen or more..trust me you'll be happy you did. Second, freeze them all. Third, after they have been in the freezer...take them out and stuff them in your mouth.
OMG by the time you realize it, all the cookies are gone. Thank goodness I drink diet pepsi. I wouldn't want all those calories from a regular pepsi.

Bingo Blues
Damn, I have the bingo blues. I went to bingo tonight to deliver Girl Scout cookies so I thought I would stay and play while I was there.
I only saw ONE woman who ordered cookies! And then I didn't win! I was on a gazillion times. "On" meaning that I only needed one number. The BAD thing is when I would get on I would need any ONE of like 3 and 4 numbers. And I would wait and wait for many many calls.
Ughhhhhhh. So now here I sit at my desk pissed off. Some of you might say, its better to be pissed off than to be pissed on. This is true! But I still lost bingo and I only delivered one box of cookies.

A Card from a Friend
Yayyyyy! I got a card from a friend yesterday in my snail mail. It came at the perfect time too! Yanno how some days you just think that you are so unappreciated? Well, I was having a day like that. When you have those kind of days, you tend to feel sorry for yourself and pout at times.
As I am feeling so unappreciated, I go to check my mail and low and behold there is a card from babycakes. Yayyyy! Thank you chica! I'm so glad you're my friend. Hugzzz and smo0o0ochiesss!!!

Thinking Day
Well today we are celebrating our Thinking Day for the Girl Scouts and Girl Guides all over the world. The true day is February 22nd.
We have chosen Samoa as our country. We have all learned a great deal about their country.
Our troop will be attending a food fest. All troops from our service unit are participating. This is how it works. As a troop, we chose a country. Once we pick our country, we try to learn everything we can about that country. We, then make a display of pictures and information we learn and will set this up on our table at the event tonight. Instead of swaps, our service unit decided we will do taste test. All the girls will bring in nickels and we will go from table to table (country to country) to buy/try different foods. We will buy a small taste at each table spending as many nickels as each girl likes. At the end of the event, we will donate all nickels we collect to the Juliette Low World Friendship Fund.
Even though our service unit decided not to do swaps, we still made swaps for ourselves. We made a Samoan flag out of beads.

Stampin' & Scrapbookin'
Yesterday, I went to my cousin, Kathie's house for a stampin' and scrapbookin' party. Those of you that know me, know I already know how to scrapbook but I have never really done any stamping.
I learned some new things yesterday about stamping and I am gonna try to incorporate it into my scrapbooking. I made a I Love You card while I was there. My cousin had a gazillion cards already made. They were all pretty neat looking. I want to do that too. Have cards all pre-made for birthdays, showers, and what nots.
Kathie binds her own books. I am so wanting to learn how to do that. I could put together some really cute journals if I knew how to do that. She is going to teach me one of these days. I can't wait. I love learning new stuff. Well dang, I just plain love stuff.

Friday the 13th
1. Are you superstitious?
Yes and no.
2. What extremes have you heard of someone going to in the name of superstition?
Well when my mom is in a car (doesn't matter if she is driving or someone else) and a cat crosses our path, she ALWAYS licks her finger and makes a cross on the window. She always crosses the cross in the direction the cat was walking towards. Weird huh?
3. Believer or not, what's your favorite superstition?
I kind of believe in superstition then again I don't BUT something like spilling the salt...of course I still have to throw it over my shoulder. Yanno, just in case!
4. Do you believe in luck? If yes, do you have a lucky number/article of clothing/ritual?
I do believe in luck. I'm lucky in a way. I think I have an angel that guards me. Always seems when I get in a rut with money or what have you, something or someone always helps me. Yanno like I have an angel over my shoulder.
5. Do you believe in astrology? Why or why not?
I like astrology. As for if I believe in it, I'm not sure. Yanno tho, it sure is weird how it seems that its talking only about you. Did that make sense?

New Glasses
I picked up my new glasses yesterday. My sun glasses feel and look fine. I can see a little bit of the frame when I am wearing them but it doesn't bother me that much.
Now, my regular pair of glasses. Hmmmm! I can see everything. I know you all are saying that should be a good thing BUT I feel like I am in a tunnel when I wear the ones that aren't tinted. I see the top of the frame, the bottom of the frame and everything in between. My eyes get so tired even after only 5 minutes.
Cuzzy says I should get used to it once I wear them like I am supposed to. Hopefully, I do what the doc says and wear these damn things. This isn't my first time getting glasses. I bought prescription glasses before but I never wore them when I was supposed to. Doc says my eyes have gotten worse from my last prescription so I am really, really gonna try to wear them when I am supposed to. I am supposed to wear them when I drive and when I have to look across a room or whatever.
Anyhoo, thats it about my new glasses.

My Early Valentine's Day Present
Hubby took me to the Super Love Jam last night.
We went with some good friends and had a wonderful time. We got all dressed up. I bought my hubby an expensive suit and I wore a purdy dress. We didn't take any pics ourselves but our friends did so when I get a copy you won't be able to see it cause hubby doesn't want his pic on the internet. So dere!!! LOL
Anyhoo, GQ and Tierra took the show if you ask me. They were so good. I just love oldies so I was like in seventh heaven. Yayyyyy!

Busy Busy Busy
Well I'm at it again! I have been so busy that I don't know where to start. Don't you hate when that happens. I have so much on my plate right now that I said the hell with it all and went to bingo last night with mom.
Of course, I didn't win. Mom won! I'm starting to get a complex about not winning and mom winning. She is the one that didn't want to go but went because I was going. I even bought her damn cards for her and she wins. Dammit when is it my turn? Huh?
I know I should be happy that she won because she really needed it. She has been low on cash lately so it came in handy for her.
Tonight they are having a special at the bingo hall we go to. I really, really wanted to go but I had other plans.
I have my girl scout meeting tomorrow so I was supposed to meet with cuzzy tonight to work on girl scout stuff. I called cuzzy to cancel because me, hubby and the kids were just gonna watch television. Well part of that is true, hubby and the kids are watching television and I am trying to get some girl scout stuff done. As if that is happening, see where I am.
Yup, I'm working on my page. LOL Well no wonder why I always have some much to do. Its because I'm always doing something else.
OH WELL!!!
