New Layout!
Whenever I get a moment, I have been going to other sites and checking out their bee quilts. I have come across so many nice pages and now I want to make my layout different again. I know I won't have time before the move but I'm telling ya "I WANT A NEW LAYOUT!" I had a tough enough time doing this one and compared to all the others out there..mine is nuttin!
I think I will put in a chatter box on the next layout. Those can be so fun! I love going to visit Katie and Mike just so I can play with their chatter boxes.
There are so many things out there. Its getting to be very addictive. I even dream about getting blinkies and patches for my quilt. First thing I do in the morning now is check my email to see if I am getting a new patch.
I know I have no life. I have so much to do for the move also and here I am looking for more patches, updating my page searching for web pages...geez woman, get your priorities straight!!
I better go get the kids in bed, its past their bedtimes but since I am on the puter...I let them stay up a little longer. I'm such a great mom! LOL

It's Late!!!
It's late and I'm tired. I haven't had time to do anything but a whole lot of nothing. Its so bad I forget to breathe. But for those of ya that are bugging for a update...this is for you! **frying pan to da head**
I'm trying here. Really I am. And just think, I only have a few more days online before we make the big move. Yuh, of course I'm stressin'!!
I'm goin' through some withdrawals here also. I need a game of gammon quick!!! I have to sleep now tho...sowwie!

Do you know what a blinkie is? I didn't until very recently when my cuzzy introduced me to them. She took me to a page and told me she had found some Patriotic blinkies. When I saw the page, I was thinking these are nice and some of them would look good on our BratGammon page. But that was all I was thinking.
Well leave it to cuzzy to go and talk about the blinkies again! She was saying how they were so cute and funny sometimes. I had to go and look for myself to see exactly what she was talking about. I typed in my search engine "blinkies" and low and behold, I found a gazillion of them. Cat ones, cow ones, funny ones, pretty ones, ugly ones!!! There were literally tons of them. People let you adopt them off their pages. Thanks peeps!
Now, I have decided to adopt all kinds of them and put them on a Blinkies page for myself. Thanks cuzzy for getting me into another fine mess. LMAO!

Cooking
If you know me, you know I don't like to cook. I know how to cook but I just don't like to cook. Well, I have a sister who doesn't know how to cook at all. She once called herself making boxed mac n cheese. **laughing** She didn't drain the water before adding the cheese! Anyone for mac n cheese soup? LMAO!!
Wait! It gets better. She wanted some tea to drink. Well, she put the tea bags in the jar and wondered why the water wasn't changing color..yanno making tea. Yanno, how you can make sun tea in the
? LMAO!! She didn't know if you didn't make sun tea you would have to boil the water first.Now, I talked to her today and couldn't help but laugh.
France: I can make pancakes now!
Janice: Really?
France: 'Member mom told me before turning the pancakes make sure they bubble up a little on the top before turning them, but mine would always turn out like scrambled eggs.
Janice: Scrambled eggs?!
France: Yuh, I would try turn them over and they would fall apart so I would just stir them around and they looked like scrambled eggs.

1. If you had the chance to meet someone you've never met, from the past or present, who would it be?
I would like to meet my father. I want to know why he left me and why he has never tried to contact me. I just want to meet him so I can show him that my mom did a great job raising me with the little she had. I don't need a dad. I have one who has been with me since I was 9 years old. :)
2. If you had to live in a different century, past or future, which would it be?
I like my century tho! Okies, I guess I would like the 23rd Century. I imagine things would be so advanced that I could just think of something and it would pop up. Pop up! Hey, get your mind outta the gutter!
3. If you had to move anywhere else on Earth, where would it be?
Anyone that knows me, knows I want to move back to Sacramento, California. Its Home!! My hubby is in the military and we have been away from home far too long. Its time to go back.
4. If you had to be a fictional character, who would it be?
I would be Disney's Goofy! He is so funny and cute!
5. If you had to live with having someone else's face as your own for the rest of your life, whose would it be?
Well thats a tough one! Can I have my face from when I was 22 years old? Does that count? That's when I thought I looked my best. I felt so pretty and sexii back then.

A Stern Mom!!
Am I a stern mom? Sometimes, I really believe I am but then days like today come into play.
The daily thing! Yanno when the kids get home from school, its homework time! They know there is no television until all homework is done. They do the normal "Can I make me a sandwich or Easy Mac before I start my homework? Of course, I let them get something to eat with the words of "Hurry up and then get that homework done."
I'll be busy with my littlest one and hollar from the office at my son to see if he is doing his homework. "Yes Mom!" I hear him yell back. I get busy again and some time has passed but notice I hear an awful lot of noise coming from the livingroom. I go into the livingroom to see if they are working. My son is on top of my other daughter making her smell his feet. Ewwwwww!!! I immediately start yelling at him and asking him questions. What the world are you doing? Have you lost your mind? Do you want me to let Christy put her stinky feet in your face? As I am yelling, both my kids are looking up at me from the floor grinning from ear to ear. Well, of course, I can't help but to grin back.
I try to get stern and yell in a louder voice. Is your homework done? Kids still grinning up at me. My son says yes. And I believe him because I know he better not lie to me. Hmmmm? I know I should check it every night, but I want him to be responsible enough to have it done if he says its done.
My children are very smart. My son takes his test at school and get nothing but "A's." But remember that homework I asked him if he was done with? We it wasn't done. As a matter of fact, only bits and pieces of the homework has been done. I know this because I had parent/teacher conferences last week.
My son's last report card wasn't very encouraging. I have been having problems with my son doing his homework. He gets those "A's" on his test and thinks if I get "A's" without the homework, why do I need to do it. I have explained to him that it doesn't matter if he makes good grades on the test if he isn't turning in the homework. If his tests count for 50% of his grade and the other 50% is homework, he will end up with a "F" no matter what he gets on those test. He has to do the homework.
This week he has been busy in the books because of all those "Yes Moms" and he really wasn't done. Hubby has been checking on him constantly. Well, I have checked here and there. He is just about caught up.
Well, I had to go into town yesterday. I am running errands for my daughters Girl Scout troop. I go into one store and my son says "Oh mom, there is that card store I was telling you about!" He is into those YuGiOh trading cards. This is how stern I am. I go into this store and buy my son the YuGiOh Pegasus 1st Edition Cards. I also buy the YuGiOh Joey 1st Edition Cards.
I really need to work on my sternness. Don't ya think? **sighs**

What A Freakin' Day!!!
Man Oh Man!!! Have you ever had a day that you had to do so much? You try to keep it all in your head until you can get it on paper. Well, I have been so busy because I am the cookie lady that I haven't been able to find a piece of paper. **smiling** Since I was unable to find that particular piece of paper, I decided I had to go play backgammon with all my BratGammon friends. Good excuse, huh?
I get online to play in what we call a LOL (League of Ladders) tourney. I find my fave cuzzy online and say "hello cuzzy!" She says hello back but soon to follow are those dreaded words. "We only have 10 people to play. We need 2 more." So I say "okies i'll help. But as I am looking and asking if members want to play, it dawns on me that I didn't update the LOL Room. So I do that real fast but we are still missing 2 people for the tourney. Here it is 5 minutes until the tourney starts. In a panic, I ask cuzzy, "Did you ask so and so? How bout so and so?" We finally find 2 last players but it is 5 minutes after 6 pm my time. Tourney should have started 5 minutes ago. I check OBS like I always do. OMG! They're here! The Realmers were sitting in OBS. Tons of them. I quickly send an IM to my cuzzy "Lets Gooooooooo! Realm is in OBS!" I don't get a response back and she isn't moving. So in the main room. Again I say, "Lets Goooooo!" During this time, the Realmers come into the main room and my cuzzy (gotta love her to death). She pops into the LOL Room without saying hello to the Realmers. Nussin. Nuttin. She just drove off into the night. Lmao! Although we didn't win, the tourney went well. We had a lot of fun! We always have great games with The Realmers.
I know I am starting to ramble but yanno wut? They (cuzzy, katie & baby) wanted me to update so here it goes. I'm minding my own business. Playing in my cuzzy's after LOL tourney. I'm waiting my turn but my turn isn't for awhile. Munkie comes in and wants to play a game. She is asking and no one is taking her up on it. So yanno I love gammon, I say "I have a bit of a wait so I'll play ya's." And all of a sudden, I am now the so-called gammon whore. Just because I love gammon. SLAP for my cuzzy!!!
Here I am playing...winning mind you. I hear bing bing bing. Chit its baby IMing me...tellin' me to update my blog. Tellin' me to check my page. Bing bing. Laffin and telling me again to go check my page. Chit! Okies, I'm going now! When I bring my page up, comments galore!! Not only from baby but from my cuzzy and from katie. The stress!! The pressure!! Now that they all have blogs, I am gonna have to keep mine updated. **sighs** Don't they know how much chit I am up to right now? Oh well, dats what friends are for!
Today was a new day! I still have all that stuff I talked about earlier that I haven't gotten done. Yanno the stuff I was supposed to put on paper. Well this morning, I got up and immediately thought I better get that piece of paper. For those of you that don't know, my hubby is retiring soon. So some of my list of stuff to get done was disconnecting the phone, DSL connection, cable, etc... yanno how you call ahead of time to give the companies a heads up letting them know you want your service turned off. Well, I called this morning and arranged for my phone to be turned off APRIL 17th. I also made arrangements for my cable to be disconnected on APRIL 11th. I called my DSL carrier to arrange to get that disconnected and the guy (Sandy) said sure we can do that for ya. He was asking questions like did I want to start a dial up so I can still access the internet while on the road. Well I decided I would do that once I got to where we are gonna settle. So he continues talking..saying once they start the disconnection..it will take 3 days for the DSL to completely take effect. Without him asking what date did I want my service turned off. He then says, "ok, its all taken care of. You will be completely DSL-less on MARCH 20th. "MARCH 20th??" I asked. He said yes. I was like OMFG! I don't want my service turned off until APRIL 17th! He sighs and says "Can I please put you on hold?" Now, he comes back and says "I don't know how to tell you this, but to come right out and say it. I SCREWED UP!!
To make this story a little shorter, I hang up after hearing him apologize a gazillion times. I get online to check my email. I DON'T HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS ANYMORE. Does that suck or what?? So if I am playing a game with you, hosting a tourney, or just plain talkin to ya in IMs and I disappear. Yanno what happened. My DSL is gone!!!
