.:9:47 PM:.
Well, it's been a long while. I've been busy and it always feels like nothing is getting done.

Here I am at home getting ready to play in another tourney on my backgammon ladder AS IF I don't have a gazillion things to do as it is. I do, however, feel that I need to make a bigger presence here at BratGammon. I was away from the ladder from the end of November to the beginning of January. Some of you are probably thinking, what a nice vacation. Yes, indeed it was but a girl can only handle NOT playing gammon for so long before she goes absolutely crazy. Although I am back, I am still struggling to be in the chatrooms because I have so much going on. WHAT? That means I have a real life! THUD!!

My children are playing Basketball this season and boy is it a hectic one. My son is doing very well with his team but why wouldn't he. He is my son. **giggle** Anyhoo, he is doing well as he should be. He just turned 12 years old. He is 5' 9" tall and wears a size 12 mens shoe. Yes, he is taller than his mom. Actually now that I think about it, he is the tallest on the team including the coach. As for my sweet little girl, she is also doing well with her team. Unfortunately, she is on a team that has 9 other players and only one other than herself has ever played basketball. Even with the team struggling to win only one game outta four, my daughter has shown she can lead this team to great heights. She has been everywhere on the floor. She has shown us that she can rebound, steal the ball, play excellent defense and even make that baskets. We are so proud of the both of them.

It's almost Girl Scout Cookie Time!!! And guess who volunteered to be cookie mom? What was I thinking? I don't think I was thinking. I have also been doing my daughters troop newsletter every week. What a headache? Again, What was I thinking? Yanno, it's those big beautiful eyes of hers, looking up at me saying mom and blinking those deadly things. **smiling** That reminds me of someone. Where did she learn that? From her mom? Oops, I am her mom! **sheepish grin**

Well, I have been playing gammon and typing in between and I still managed to get to be Top Seat. I have a little bit of a wait for the Finals so I think I will go and grab me a Diet Pepsi. Thanks for stopping by to read!
